Ability Application
(This is not an exhaustive list)
Passivation: This aspect of Aiden's ability is what makes his chains near indestructible. His chains are coated with his entropic energy, acting as a shield for the chains themselves. It protects the chains from outside elements that could cause them to corrode, rust, or wear. This protective layer of the chains is what makes them poor electric conductors. If Aiden were to completely wrap himself in his chains, he would be protected from all electrical shocks.
Chain Summoning: In order to use his chains, Aiden has to summon them. When summoned, the chains will shoot out of a flat, solid surface. The chains cannot be separated from that surface. Once they have been summoned, they 'float' in the air like a snake. Aiden then has free will to move and bind the chains as he pleases.
Sickle Anemia: Aiden can swap the metal for blood but still give the blood metal properties. If blood gets on his chains, he has the option to change its physical characteristic. He multiplies the blood cells rapidly until they cover the chain. The blood cells then 'seep' into the chains and substitute out the inox within the chains. For reasons unknown, the once normal blood cells will quickly morph into sickle cells. In this state, his chains are harder to break due to how sticky the blood cells become.
Ability Limits
There is a limit to how many chains Aiden can summon and how long the chains themselves are. I don't know the specific number, but I do know when his mental health isn't good, he cannot summon as many chains as he typically does. This also affects how much he can lengthen the chains.
There a few things that can break Aiden's chains. Extreme weight/pressure, heat, and galling--caused by his own chains, materials similar to his chains, or other entropic outputs that clash with his ability.
Aiden's chains are good thermal conductors, meaning that they get hot fast. If the chains reach their melting point, Aiden loses the ability to control his chains. This is because they are no longer in a state his entropy recognizes. When hot enough, his chains can also burn through other things. If the material the chains are grounded in cannot withstand the heat, the chains will disconnect from said surface and become null.
Aiden cannot hold onto his blood chains for long periods of time. This is because the sickle cells begin to slowly turn into blasts (immature red blood cells). When too many blasts form, his chains begin to leak blood. They then fall apart because he cannot keep the shape of the chains.
